Noynoy Benigno Aquino attends anti-Marcos rally


Private native Benigno Aquino III joined yesterday a show challenge the internment of the late president Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

The previous president said his position on the issue has not changed in the last 30 to 40 years – his family being a casualty of the Marcos tyranny – yet focused on that this time he was not driving the dissent but rather came to “tune in” to the voice of others.

“I was simply part of the gathering of people,” Aquino said, taking note of he didn’t go to the occasion in Rizal Park to talk or pronounce his own interpretation of the issue.

“Arrived near (5 p.m.). Remained barely 60 minutes. I am, obviously, elated that our kinsmen all alone are going to bat for what is correct,” he said.

Aquino said he was welcomed by the Silent Majority, a development of Filipinos who have been participating in political, financial and different issues influencing the Philippines, to go to the rally in Manila.

Aquino, who has been staying silent about different issues including the new organization to allow President Duterte to get used to his position, said the fundamental point had dependably been: “The Libingan ng mga Bayani is intended to respect the individuals will’s identity covered there. Aquino said he couldn’t see any motivation to respect Marcos.
